On January 26, 2023, JOB BOOSTER SOCIAL ENTERPRISE BURKINA FASO organized its OFFICIAL LAUNCHING ceremony at its headquarters in Ouagadougou located in the Somgandé district, (in the housing estate located on the north side of the Total Station on the Ziniaré road) in order to enable young Burkinabe to access dignified jobs by strengthening their skills.
The issue of employment and employability of young people in Burkina Faso is crucial, especially since, faced with idleness, these young people are tempted by the evils that undermine society: alcohol, drugs, prostitution, enrolment in terrorist groups, etc., when they do not opt for an adventure in Europe with all the risks that this entails.
To improve this environment and offer better options for young people to train, undertake or obtain decent jobs, the Government of Burkina Faso with the support of its partners is committed to making decent work and economic growth a reality in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to which Burkina Faso has adhered. It is with this in mind that job booster Enterprise is embarking on this same challenge to support the employability of young people in Burkina Faso.
Job Booster Social Enterprise Burkina Faso (JBSE-BF) is a social enterprise, a subsidiary of a Dutch company. It is an initiative of Woord en Daad based in the Netherlands. It aims at the economic and social development of Burkina Faso by facilitating access of young people to employment, training and self-employment opportunities.
The ultimate goal of JBSE-BF is that every young person in Burkina Faso has access to a dignified job.
JBSE-BF would be the nugget company that Burkina Faso was missing in order to listen to, understand and accompany young people throughout their economic growth.
Aware of the big challenge it faces, JBSE-BF is finally positioning itself to take up the challenge facing young Burkinabes.
