Job Booster Social Enterprise Burkina Faso participated on Sunday 27 November 2022 in the Burkina Faso / Netherlands Friendship Festival at the Club de l'étrier located in the Zone du Bois in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
The objective of the event is to make visible the links of exchange and cooperation that exist between the two countries. This festival also marks the 10th anniversary of the association, which was created in 2012 and whose vision is to contribute to the strengthening of friendship between the peoples of Burkina Faso and the Netherlands by facilitating exchanges, strengthening solidarity and promoting multiculturalism in both Burkina Faso and the Netherlands.
The first edition of the Dutch-Burkinabè Friendship Festival event, which took place at the Club de l'Etrier, brought together 45 exhibitors who are associations, NGOs, companies, projects, governmental or family initiatives. The exhibitors are associations with partners in the Netherlands, projects with Dutch funding, companies with export markets in the Netherlands, young people who have received training in the Netherlands and have set up businesses. These are all people who have this double link, who are present at this festival.
That is why the president of the Burkina Faso-Netherlands friendship association, Henk Nugteren, and his colleagues wanted to bring together all the expressions of this friendship through this friendship festival.
The Dutch ambassador to Burkina Faso congratulated and encouraged the friendship, which has maintained ties between Burkinabes and Dutch people even though the Dutch embassy was closed from 2013 to 2019.
